At Mysuru Dasara 2026, BotLab Dynamics once again bagged their 8th Guinness World Record, titled the largest aerial display of a bird formed by multicopters/drones. The show took place on 18th October 2026, at Panjina Kavayathu Ground (Torchlight Parade Ground) in Bannimantap, Mysuru.
This incredible performance showcased the technology, accuracy, and intricate design involved in incorporating the drone with local culture.
The Dancing Peacock Formation That Set the Record
The impressive drone show saw a dancing peacock, made up of 3473 drones, which earned BotLab Dynamics the Guinness World Records title of the largest bird pattern in the air made with drones/multirotors.
The precision and coordination required to form this stunning design were impressive. This was achieved by having each drone contribute to the creation of the shape.
This showcases how impactful drone light shows can be when combining the technology with creative and large-scale design. The peacock shape gave the record a great link to culture.
Combining Technology and Culture in the Mysuru Dasara Drone Show
Mysuru Dasara is a celebration of the culture and royal traditions found in Karnataka. It celebrates the triumph of Goddess Chamundeshwari.

This makes the idea of having a drone show very modern. The drone show was designed using 3500 drones to create the perfect coordinated show. The show used music and choreographed dance to create spectacular shapes.
The standout feature of the show was the dancing peacock. Other ideas were incorporated into the show, including the Goddess Chamundeshwari, Ambari, Nandi, and the Indian National Flag.
This allows BotLab Dynamics to combine modern drone technology with the culture and identity of Mysuru Dasara.
